Meet writer and creative Sandra Prendergast, one of the Summer 2021 Boafo Beauty Blog Writers!
Hi! My name is Sandra Prendergast, and I am one of the beauty writers for the Boafo Beauty Blog for the summer of 2021.
I am a senior at Mount Holyoke College, where I play on the Varsity Lacrosse team, and will graduate with a B.A. in English, with a focus on Creative Writing and a minor in Sociology in May of 2022. I am an avid writer and obsessed with all things in the creative field. I also enjoy creating daring new fashion looks that represent my personality.
I am from Staten Island, NY, and before Boafo Beauty, I worked for a Public Relations firm in Manhattan where I focused on writing, editing, and additional various tasks. My specialties in writing include short stories, profile pieces, and poetry. Additionally, I have had my poems published in TeenInk magazine and I was a part of an anthology series that is published in the Wellesley College Library.
I am excited to expand my creative writing with Boafo Beauty, as well as build on my makeup knowledge and learn to express myself more through makeup looks and writing. Boafo Beauty was the place where I knew that I could let my imagination run wild and be able to come up with unique and bold ideas. I want to be able to work and connect with new people during this internship and collaborate with as many people as I can!
